You never know what you’re going to get.
Unless you cheat and get a box with a map.
But what is the fun in that?
Quick question:
Please study the following pictures.
Which one is the before… which is the after? ![]()
Take your time.
No…
Really!
Just look them over.
Got it figured out?
No?
Well, let me tell you a story then.
They say that you should never give someone you love a box of assorted chocolates. Very often they won’t like them all and will very surely only eat one of them. The rest kind of go to waste, no? Of course, the hard part is figuring out which candy you will like. You enter eating that box blindly. Unless that person has adapted after many years of eating such boxes. And, let me tell you, my mother and I are just those sorts of people. It would be wise to try and get to the box before we do. Although if you arrive afterwards, we’d be able to tell you precisely which chocolate contains which center. The trick is of finely poking and discreetly tasting them. If we don’t like them, they get returned to the box of pawned off on someone who might enjoy their filling. We giggle and try to keep straight faces, but each of us knows precisely what we’re doing.
So, you do know what that means, right?
The box that appears whole is truly the after shot.
You can barely tell which ones we’ve attacked.
In fact, we attacked them all, as you can sort of see from the other picture.
It’s a gift, I tell you.
